OUR COMMITTEES
East Bay DSA has many committees engaged in the important work of the chapter, addressing the needs of its members and the larger community.
STEERING
The Steering Committee of East Bay DSA is the governing board of the chapter, generally supervises its affairs between regular membership meetings, and implements the priorities adopted by the membership at the last annual convention.

If workers are going to have real power, we need the ability to stop business as usual when it matters. When push comes to shove, corporations and their politicians prioritize profits over people. That's why workers need strong, independent unions and workplace organizations. Strong unions let us fight for our interests on the job and in our communities.

ELECTORAL
The Electoral Committee runs East Bay DSA's electoral campaigns and works closely with our endorsed elected officials to push a working-class agenda from inside government. Elections are one of our most powerful tools for building socialist power by raising demands, growing our base, and showing people what it looks like when workers fight back and win.

MIGRANTS DEFENSE
The East Bay DSA Migrants Defense Committee is taking action to support migrants in the East Bay. We are empowering our community to Know Our Rights through Workshopping and Canvassing, planning Language Justice interventions in the local chapter, and doing mutual aid.
